Shell mold core manufacturing technology
It is possible to create high-precision castings! Ideal for automotive engine parts and suspension components!
The "Shell Mold Core Manufacturing Technology" is a type of precision casting method developed for mass production using the shell mold method. It was invented in 1944 by Dr. J. Kroening in Germany. A release agent is applied to a mold heated to about 300°C, and RCS, a mixture of silica sand and resin, is blown into the mold to create a shell core (sand mold) by hardening it. This method involves pouring molten metal into the mold for casting. It is called shell mold because the mold is shaped like the shell of a bivalve.
